SCOAP3 support in the U.S. continues to grow

In recent weeks five more U.S. university library have expressed their support to the SCOAP3 initiative:

• Carnegie Mellon University
• Creighton University
• Macalester College
• Northeastern University
• and the University of Kentucky.

As of today, SCOAP³ has received pledges for over 2.8 Million dollars from over a hundred U.S. libraries and libraries consortia.

Worldwide, SCOAP³ partners in 22 countries collectively pledged over6.5 Million Euros, 65% of SCOAP³ funding envelope to convert to Open Access the entire literature of the field of High-Energy Physics.
