SCOAP3 held two identical webinars on December 07 2017. This year’s Forum focused on the impact of SCOAP3 on article downloads and on the upcoming addition of APS journals.

Each one-hour webinar covered:

  • A refresher of the SCOAP3 business model;
  • A review of the first 4 years of the initiative (2014-2017);
  • A detailed analysis of the SCOAP3 impact on article downloads;
  • An outlook to the years ahead with APS joining SCOAP3.

The SCOAP3 partnership was holding two identical webinars on December 01 and 05 2016. This year’s Forum focused on the review of the first 3 years of the initiative and an outlook to the coming 3 years.

Each one-hour webinar covered:

  • A refresher of the SCOAP3 business model;
  • A review of the first 3 years of the initiative (2014-2016);
  • An outlook to SCOAP3 Phase 2 (covering the years 2017-2019);
  • The impact of SCOAP3 in terms of article downloads.

The SCOAP3 partnership held two identical webinars on November 18, 2015. This year’s theme of the Forum was “The impact of SCOAP3“.

Each two-hour webinar was attended by representatives from libraries, funding agencies, scientists and publishers and covered:

      • A refresher of the SCOAP3 business model and an outlook to the future of SCOAP3;
      • An operational update with a special focus on the compliance validation;
      • The impact of SCOAP3 to different parts of the community including several guest speakers.
